Historical Brushes
The history of brushes and brushmaking is thoroughly under documented in comparison to many other traditional crafts. The first chapter of The Brushmaker, by William Kiddier, being appropriately named, “After Centuries of Silence”. Extracting quotes from brush related literature sources I have imagined authentic brushes, through processes of drawing and making.
