Learn the techniques of traditional brushmaking and then create your own designs using a mixture of found and natural materials such as used fishing net, driftwood and plant fibres.

Including foraging for natural materials, learning traditional brushmaking skills and experimenting with simple woodworking. 

CAST Family Workshops

An annual series of free creative family workshops organised by CAST Cornwall in picturesque locations such as the Penrose Walled Garden and Gweek village green. 

CAST-Off sessions run from 10am to 12 noon and 2 to 4pm, with activities including pigment making, pinch pottery, wood construction, clay modelling, brushmaking, cyanotype photography and nature-based printmaking.
