Ellie Birkhead is a designer, maker and writer who uses the power of craft and creativity to bring about social change. She is Design Lead at the creative education organisation Little Inventors that inspires imagination by taking children’s ideas seriously. Most recently Ellie wrote the children’s book Little Inventors Mission Oceans, illustrated by Dominic Wilcox and published by Harper Collins. 

Ellie graduated in 2018 with an MA in Social Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven and her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in publications such as Dezeen, Crafts Magazine and LS:N Global.
